To further support our commitment to transformation, BoardConnect offers the Reality-Based Governance (RBG)programme—a 13-week intensive training initiative designed to prepare black professionals for board membership. The programme covers both the internal and technical aspects of governance, providing participants with practical insights and real-world experience. The programme includes:

Personal development through the creation of business models and brand stories as directors

BoardConnect’s Board Apprenticeship Programme places graduates as Board Apprentices, allowing them to gain hands-on experience without directorship pressures. Over a 12-month period, apprentices receive induction and training, engage in meetings, and build relationships with board members, preparing them for non-executive roles.

Aligned with King IV principles, BoardConnect emphasizes boardroom diversity to enhance governance and decision-making.
